Variety: The variety was bred by creating complex hybrid populations based on 3 self - fertile lines.
Productivity: the variety has a high dry matter yield both under rainfed conditions (6.5–9.0 t/ha) and under irrigation (10.5–14.2 t/ha). The maximum seed yield: 1.04 t/ha was obtained at the Sarapul variety plot.
State Register: Northern, Northwestern, Volga - Vyatka, Central Chernozem, Ural, West Siberian and East Siberian regions
Features of development: Plant height in spring from low to medium. The start time of flowering is average. The frequency of plants with mixed flowers is high. The species is characterized by high ecological plasticity and good regrowth in spring and after mowing. More winter - hardy than alfalfa, therefore more promising for areas with extreme environmental conditions.
Sowing term: Early spring sowing, without cover.
Seeding rate (germinating seeds/m2): Wide - row sowing for seed purposes: 1.5–2.0 million seeds per 1 ha. For green fodder: row sowing without cover crop - 18–20 kg/ha
Vegetation period: The period from the beginning of the growing season to the first cutting is 64–70 days.
Agrophone: Lucerne does not tolerate acidic soils with a pH
Disease resistance: Resistant to major diseases, root rot and pests.
Protection features: Treat seeds before sowing against root rot and apply insecticides against pests in a timely manner
Direction of use: Stern, for haylage.
