Table Orlova is designed for Visual acuity in children of preschool age.
This table contains rows with pictures whose size decreases from row to row from the top down. To the left of each row indicated the distance D (metres), with which they must see the child with normal vision (50 meters for the top row; 2.5 meter - for bottom). To the right of each row of the specified value (V) (dimensionless) is a Visual acuity when recognizing images from a distance of 5 meters (0.1 if the eye sees only the top row; 2.0 - if you can see the bottom row). Normal vision (1.0) — when a child sees each eye from a distance of 5 meters of the tenth row.
In the study of Visual acuity with different distances (less than 0.1 — if a child with 5 meters does not recognize uppercase), bring to the table and scanned every 0.5 meter asked until he names the correct uppercase series.
